Questions & answers
Does Subreveal work on Netflix?
Yes. Subreveal works on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, HBO Max, YouTube, and virtually any site that uses an HTML5 video player. It overlays subtitles on top of the video so it works regardless of what the platform itself offers.
Can I use my own subtitle files?
Absolutely. Drag and drop SRT, VTT, ASS, or even ZIP archives directly into the extension popup. Files are processed locally and never leave your device.
Can I display two languages at the same time?
Yes — up to three at once. Each track has independent styling and placement, which is perfect for language learning or watching with friends who speak different languages.
Can I fix out-of-sync subtitles?
Use the Sync tab to shift timing forward or backward in real time with millisecond precision. You can then export the corrected file as SRT or VTT.
Does Subreveal work on mobile?
On Android, install a Chromium browser that supports extensions (Kiwi Browser, Vivaldi, or Edge Canary) and add Subreveal from the Chrome Web Store. Firefox for Android is also supported via Firefox Add-ons.
Is Subreveal free?
Yes, Subreveal is completely free with no accounts, no ads, and no hidden tiers. Subtitle search uses the free OpenSubtitles and SUBDL APIs.
